We had a fantastic time at the Grove Hotel in St Davids. It has to be said it was a bit Fawlty Towers at times, but good fun as well. The weather was 'changeable and blustery' but that didn't deter us seasoned photographers. Although at one time, standing up was difficult and photographing very hit and miss. Ellie and Brian went walking and had a lovely day struggling with the conditions.
Lovely to see Babs again and Mr & Mrs Jones from Abergavenny (Keith and Lyndas' friends).
We spent the evenings exercising our right arms, but also going out with cameras when it was dark to do light painting. I was quite surprised we didnt get arrested, especially when we went to the Cathedral grounds with Steve and his toys! You could say this is a project in the making, but the more we practiced the better it got. Thankyou Steve for your patience with us novices.
Ian provided plenty of Yorkshire humour especially when it came to Mushy Peas - dont ask.....
Oh and yes, Roger dropped his new camera in the water, fortunately it was rain water in the bottom of a boat had it been sea water, I will leave you to make up your mind. He has had the camera checked and it is fine, so is he!!!!!
All in all, lovely company, food, nonsense, and plenty of action in every way. Cant wait for the next one.
